Taipei, Oct. 19 (CNA) Lee Shying-jow (???), former minister of the Veterans Affairs Council, was appointed the Republic of China's representative to Denmark by President Tsai Ing-wen (???) Friday.
Lee served as minister in charge of the Veterans Affairs Council in Tsai's administration from 2016 until February this year.
Lee, 66, retired from a long career in the military in 2014.
He served as Vice Minister of National Defense in 2014 and National Security Bureau chief from 2014-2015, before becoming a national policy adviser to the Presidential Office from 2015-2016.
