Taipei--South Korean actor Lee Dong-wook, who starred in the popular Korean TV drama series "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" of 2016, arrived in Taiwan on Saturday and was scheduled to meet with fans the next day.
Wearing black and white striped trousers and a black t-shirt, Lee was greeted by many fans on arrival at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
He is scheduled to hold a greet-and-meet event at Taipei International Convention Center on Sunday as part of his Asian tour.
The 35-year-old actor rose to fame across Asia for his role in the "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" as a messenger from hell that is in charge of taking deceased souls.
The Korean TV drama series became a mega hit in 2016 and is now being aired in Taiwan on STAR Chinese Channel.
Lee's other famous works included the television dramas "My Girl" of 2005 and "Scent of a Woman" of 2011 playing a cold businessman and a rich, cynical young man, respectively.
