Taipei, Some Taiwan-based airlines have announced changes to their flight schedules on Thursday due to Typhoon Shanshan, which was heading toward Japan.
The following are some of the changes:
Mandarin Airlines Flight AE266 from Taichung and Narita, scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Thursday, will be delayed until 12:30 p.m.
EVA Air Flight BR190 from Songshan to Haneda, which was scheduled to depart 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, will leave at 8:10 a.m. Thursday.
EVA Air Flight BR196 from Taoyuan to Narita has been rescheduled from Wednesday afternoon to 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
Tigerair Taiwan Flight IT217 from Haneda to Taoyuan has been postponed from 5:00 a.m. Thursday to 3:00 a.m. Friday and recoded as IT9217.
Tigerair Taiwan Flight IT200 from Taoyuan to Narita and the return flight IT201 scheduled for Thursday will both be postponed to Friday, leaving at 2:25 a.m. and 7:40 a.m., respectively
Tigerair Taiwan Flight IT202 from Taoyuan to Narita, scheduled for 2:25 p.m. Thursday, will leave at 11:30 a.m. Friday, while the return flight IT203 will depart at 4:45 p.m. The two flights have been recoded as IT9202 and IT9203, respectively.
Tigerair Taiwan Flight IT8218 from Taoyuan to Ibaraki and the return Flight IT8219 will both be delayed by four hours Thursday, which means IT8218 will depart at 1:45 p.m. and IT8219 at 7:10 p.m.
