Taipei, The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.013 to close at NT$28.480.
Turnover totaled US$977 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$28.250, and moved to a low of NT$27.950 before rebounding to the closing level, the highest for the day.
