Taipei, Over 35,000 households in the northern port city of Keelung will have their water supply suspended from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning due to water pipe related work, according a press release issued by Taiwan Water Corporation (TWC) Friday.
The press release issued by TWC's 1st Branch said a total of 35,654 households in Keelung's Zhongzheng, Xinyi and Ren-ai districts will be impacted from Tuesday 10:00 p.m. to Wednesday 10 a.m., while a further 1,721 households will experience low water pressure.
The suspension of service is related water pipe work in the Anlan Bridge area of the city's Zhongzheng District, the press release pointed out.
TWC said residents should make sure they stock up on water before the restrictions go into force.
