He pointed out that through the Ritta Program, the informal sector community, such as scavengers and street sweepers, will be able to have a type 18 earthquake-resistant house, with a plot area of 72 square meters. For the Ritta Program, the Prabumulih city government will prepare two hectares of land for the construction of around 100 earthquake-resistant houses. The houses will be built using the Simple Healthy Instant House (Risha) technology developed by the Ministry of PUPR, he said. “The Prabumulih regional government has prepared two hectares of land for 100 housing units. Meanwhile, the PUPR Ministry has prepared a site plan and construction for the Risha earthquake-resistant house, namely the type-18 house, which can be further developed, with a plot area of 6 x 12 meters or 72 square meters,” he added. To support the livelihoods of people working as scavengers, he said the ministry will collaborate with the Cipta Karya Directorate to facilitate them with plastic cutter machines. Children who have already experienced stunting will continue to receive the usual treatment, such as monitoring from doctors at hospitals, he informed. The ministry is aiming to bring down the national stunting rate to 14 percent by 2024. The PMT program is expected to help reduce the stunting figure in Indonesia.
