The increasingly massive development of artificial intelligence technology has an impact on many aspects of human life, including the aspect of education. Apart from supporting work automation, the involvement of artificial intelligence can help to teach staff to learn and analyze big data related to learning. This data analysis becomes the basis for tertiary education providers when compiling a curriculum or recommending appropriate training for students to improve their capabilities. Instead, AI helps students navigate the pace of their educational life more effectively and efficiently. Students can understand and manage their limitations during the study. In addition, AI can help manage the self-learning portion according to students’ interests adapted to the higher education formal education curriculum. Meanwhile, cloud services function as a medium for collaborative learning activities, enabling students to work together to complete their assignments. Students can take part in the AI application usage training program presented by Huawei ASEAN Academy Indonesia as part of the implementation of Huawei’s “I Do Contribute” commitment pillar, which wants to produce 100,000 ICT talents in Indonesia by 2025. So far, Huawei has provided training, debriefing and certification to more than 80,000 ICT HR. t this event, the Ministry of Education and Culture also gave awards to students who won the Huawei Global ICT Competition from the Bandung Institute of Technology and Telkom University. Huawei Techday 2023 also held a panel discussion with the theme “Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: Potential, Challenges and Opportunities”. This discussion involved cross-sectoral speakers from the Ministry of Education and Culture, the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Huawei and KORIKA.
