NT$120 million Grand Lottery winning ticket sold in Tainan

The sole winning ticket for the top prize of over NT$120 million (US$4.04 million) in Wednesday’s Grand Lottery was sold by a lottery store in Tainan’s East District, according to Taiwan Lottery Co.

The winning ticket was sold by the Hui Te lottery ticket store (惠德彩券行) on Chongshan Road, and the winning numbers were 33, 19, 08, 05, 23 and 46, plus the special number 48.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday, there were a total of 32 tickets with six or more of the nine numbers drawn in the special prize lottery.

The nine numbers drawn in the special prize lottery were: 28, 02, 40, 26, 15, 11, 03, 06 and 04.

Of the 32 winners, 18 walked away with the top prize of NT$1 million each, while 14 won NT$500,000 each after selecting the same six numbers as another winning ticket.

The special draw is part of a bonus game for Grand Lottery tickets, which allows ticket holders to win a maximum of NT$1 million if all of their numbers match six from the set of nine numbers.

Since Jan. 20, 360 winning sets of the nine-number draw have produced 353 winning tickets, according to the lottery company.
