2023 — A South Korean C-130 military aircraft leaves for Sudan to evacuate South Korean nationals amid intensifying fighting between rival forces in the African nation. The aircraft later carried 28 South Koreans from an airport in Port Sudan via Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Seoul Air Base in Seongnam, just south of Seoul.
